About the program:
Join us as we discuss what we’ve seen in the first eight weeks of paid family medical benefits becoming available to employees. In this program, we provide an overview of the latest updates and rules regarding Paid FML and what obligations schools have under these rules, including what notices schools need to provide to all employees of their rights to benefits. We’ll discuss how we’ve seen the program function and how the administration of PFML, FMLA and paid leave benefits is working. This program will include interactive scenarios and plenty of opportunities to ask questions. Topics will include:- Paid FML basics such as the protections Paid FML provides, who is eligible, what employees receive, and employer notice requirements;
- How the rollout of the program is going in the first 8 weeks;
- The overlap of PFML, FMLA and paid leave; and
- Intermittent leave.
