Description
Each year, the Maine Legislature enacts new laws that serve to the shape the legal landscape for Maine schools. In collaboration with Maine School Management Association, we invite you to our annual conference at which we will review the new laws and explain how the school law landscape has shifted once again.
The latest changes in the law include:
- Changes to the school employee investigations law;
- Creation of a new “bell-to-bell” cell phone ban;
- Changes to the teacher certification rules;
- Changes to the EPS funding formula;
- Changes to state curriculum requirements;
- Changes to Maine’s mandatory reporting law;
- And others!
