What you Need to Know About Navigating School Policies in 2023

This webinar will provide Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, Board Chairs/Policy Committee Chairs and other school staff involved in the Board policy making process with the following:

• A basic understanding (or refresher) of when Board policies are needed and the purposes they serve;
• The difference between a Board policy and administrative procedures/guidelines;
• Guidance on how to develop, write, review and implement Board-level policies/procedures; and
• Guidance on managing Board, employee and public communications regarding Board policy issues.

This webinar will include useful written materials and provide ample time for discussion of participants’ questions.
